We’re Doing a Great Blog!

Dear readers,

We are riding the wave of the future. After months of deliberation, we have decided to release our culinary efforts into the digital ether, in the hope that they may be enjoyed by others with a similar penchant for meatless home-cookin’.

Her: My foray into veganism began in 2005, and involved a petting zoo and a pulled-pork sandwich stand. I’d like to use this blog as a means of demystifying vegan cooking, and making its tasty charms accessible to a larger audience.

Him: I love to cook with, and eat, meat – but between bouts of meat-driven madness I tend to cook vegan. As a meat-eater I understand the impulse to dismiss, or shy away from, “vegan” recipes (a few too many bad experiences), but the truth is that vegan cooking can be as satisfying and thoroughly incredible as any. I dedicate this blog to brave culinary improvisers, enthusiasts of FLAVOR, and to all those vegan friends (mine or yours) who have tried, in vain, to dream up the solution to a meatless pot roast. Let’s give it a go…

Her: Join us as we ride the dizzying heights and embrace the devastating lows of an ongoing vegan culinary experiment.

Him: We will warn you of the devastating lows beforehand. You’re not expected to experiment with us.
